Went for lunch today. First time back in over eighteen months. My wife and I shared the Scotch Egg starter $12. The sausage meat used, tasted bland, so not to our taste. Just a little aside here both of us try to avoid excessive salt in food. However these Scotch Eggs seemed to be devoid of any. We both had the fish and chips, mushy peas and curry sauce, which we both enjoyed. :) The portions were large. The service was very good and attentive. Would reccomend for fish and Chips.

Recently went through some changes as many places do. (New Owners- got to meet them and they are so nice). Our server was Amy and she was busy but always made sure we didn't need anything. She is super friendly and nice. Our food came out hot and fresh. (Thank you Kitchen!) My husband said the fish and chips was GOOD (his version of fantastic lol)! I have to say, the piece of fish was gigantic! The mushrooms were good, the Ruben was good. If you get the Chicken Tenders and chips you really get a good amount. They are adding music and games-- live music, Juke Box Bingo and Trivia!!! Definitely should come and see for yourself!!! You won't be disappointed.

Al way had a little Love/Hate with Friar Tuck. But location often won out to meet a friend for a quick drink, but normally not food. Now under new ownership, I went back for dinner. Started with a house salad. Nothing really special, but works. So....actually I'm a sucker for shredded lettuce! That and a good Blue Cheese and I'm happy! Followed by the Cottage Pie. Presentation is a five! Being picky the mash on top looks great, but are a little over done and dry. However, not bad.

Authentic and very good British pub food. Fish and chips are spot on. Full English breakfast is authentic and delicious. Great atmosphere. Terrific service. Friar Tuck has a full bar. There's a small shop with imported British foods and snacks. Next time we'll go for the traditional Sunday Roast. Look forward to it.
